Tippmann has just released a new version of their top rated X7 Phenom paintball marker.  This is the Limited Edition Assault Phenom.  It includes 5 of the most popular Tippmann Tactical upgrades for a a custom mil-sim look.  the will be one of the best guns for woodsball that you can get.

The tactical stock is both a folding stock and a collapsible stock at the same time.  Two folding tactical sights let you easily acquire your target and blast them away with one of five firing modes.

This full auto paintball gun has an electronic (egrip) trigger but also other modes like semi-auto, auto-response, and 3-shot burst.  Tippmann has even thrown in an X7 magazine and shroud.  All of these Tippmann X7 Mods are factory installed and test so you get a custom gun without the work of customizing your own gun.

JT Spectra Proflex Goggles Available in Limited Edition Colors

JT has recently released a new color of their popular Spectra Proflex line.  The Desert Tan and Black paintball face mask is a perfect match for lots of different camo patterns.  If you’re not already familiar with the Proflex line then you should be.  They use the Flex7 Goggle Frame and Mask but instead of having hard plastic ear pieces they have a smaller and softer earpiece.  So YES, there is less protection here.  But you can hear better with these goggles because there’s less bulky goggle blocking the way to your ears.  You also get a tactical advantage that balls are less likely to break on these soft ears.  More bounces mean you get to stay in the game longer.   The smaller foam ear pieces also make the goggle a bit lighter.  The Flex7 and ProFlex include the soft rubber mouth guard too.  You’ll definitely feel the paint hit you on the cheeks and mouth but you get lots of bounces off this area.  So if you like to get up in the fight and need that extra advantage while looking good at the same time then you need to take a look at the se new limited edition colors.  They also come in Olive and Lime Green.

Tippmann Releases New A-5 HE Paintball Gun

New for 2011, these A5s feature the HE E-Grip which allows users to fire up to 20 balls-per-second! There are five different special firing modes to choose from including Semi-auto, Auto-response, Full-auto, 3-shot bursts and Turbo. Its new external selector switch enables you to change from safe, to fire, to special firing modes on the fly. It has an improved, faster cyclone feed system and new barrel that is more accurate and quieter than the original. Some other added features are a larger, removable frontgrip, front sling mount, a lighter magnesium body and a lower-profile loader design.

Tippmann US Army Carver One with E-Grip Shipping Delays

It looks like the Egrip version of the Tippmann US Army Carver One is still a bit out.  The last update I received from Tippmann is May 18th, about 3 more weeks.  Sorry!  I know some of you already have pre-orders for this new release from Tippmann but we can’t ship them any faster than they can make them.  Tippmann always makes sure to put out quality product.  Some times the delivery date of those products gets pushed back because of this.  But that’s okay.  Who wants a buggy gun?   So be patient and we’ll ship orders out as soon as we can.

You can still pre-order the Carver One with Egrip on our site.  The Carver One Basic and the Power Pack are already in stock and shipping.

The US Army Carver One Paintball guns have the basic inline bolt system from a 98 and include built in sights and plenty of rails for mounting accessories .

New Designs Turbo Valve Housing still a few weeks out

The Tippmann Turbo Valve Housing  from New DeSigns is still out of stock.  I spoke with New Designs and while they didn’t give a specific reason, they are working on the issue.  Last thing they said was a few weeks.  So that will hopefully put some in our hands for shipping by May 12th.  This is a unique replacement valve and there are no substitutions.  It’s worth waiting for.  You’ll just have to wait a bit longer.  We do have PLENTY on order to clear back orders when they arrive. 

If you’re in a pinch don’t forget that we always have the stock Tippmann Valve 02-V  available.  This particular one comes with all the internals so it’s ready to drop in.  You can get a stock valve body only  too.

Tippmann 98 Expansion Chamber Kit Discontinued

It looks like Tippmann’s discontinued their expansion chamber kit for the 98 series guns (non platinum).   We’re all out too so that’s the end of that.  The A5 Expansion Chamber  kit is still available.  We do have some other expansion chambers  that will work just fine on your gun.  You just need to make sure you have the right fitting and braided line to install it.  Feel free to call us for help.

Just to be clear.  That discontinued item is for the NON-Platinum Series 98 Customs.  If you have a 98 Custom Platinum or PS  then you’re still good to go.  The Platinum Series Vertical Expansion Chamber is still available.

Lapco Aluminum Cocking Handle for Tippmann 98’s – Just Arrived

Just arrived. We’ll be taking pictures and should have them up on the sites soon.  Here’s the cocking handle on Lapco’s site. Lapco has long made a stainless steel version of this cocking handle too. Now these knobs are basically for looks but they do have a nice shape to them so you never have to worry about tearing up your fingers when cocking your Tippmann 98. This is the original Tippman 98 cocking handle. It’s normally covered by a little rubber cap but those can fall off and you’re left with this serrated handle. These handles, both the stainless steel and the aluminum version, will fit on ALL of the Tippmann 98 series gun from the original Model 98 up to the 98 Custom Pro Platinum gun. They’ll also fit on the new US Army Project Salvos and and US Army Alpha Blacks.
